A parent employed outside the home can stay involved now, too, answering questions and offering support. No matter whether on the road for work or just in the office as usual, messages can reach you as soon as you logon to your family’s school.

I am the main teacher for our son at home, but I have to work during the day, so he stays with his grandmother and does his assignments. I like how he can just go into PER and see what he has to do.  If he has a question his grandmother can’t answer, he can use the secure messaging feature to ask me, even while I am at work!  It helps me stay in touch and keep him moving along.  I think it is the only way we can homeschool him and enable me to work. - Joe M., Pennsylvania
